For Whom?
For all coaches, medics and referees in football where youngsters are involved, including where Under 18s are playing adult football. For those involved with Charter Standard or taking coaching, medical and refereeing qualifications,safeguarding Children in Football is mandatory.
Pre-requisites:
Ideally applicants are 18 years of age or over. The workshop requires some emotional maturity to deal with content, as well as some experience in leadership roles in order to apply a context for dealing with child welfare issues.

- Signs, symptoms and forms of abuse and poor practice

- Attitudes and feelings in relation to concerns about poor practice and abuse

What to do if you are concerned about the welfare of a child or young person
