Leicestershire & Rutland County FA are undertaking a consultation process with Clubs, Local Authorities and organisations regarding facility developments. The aim is to form a County FA prioritisation list for facility investment over the next few years. Currently the Football Foundation and The FA are managing the remaining budget from the Foundation's third cycle of funding which is forecast to end in mid 2011.
Demand has been exceptionally high and with a reducing budget, the majority of this funding has already been allocated to priority strategic projects. There is the potential that some projects might not yet be delivered due to planning, financial or other issues and therefore there remains some flexibility within the overall programme. However, only those projects that are considered to represent the highest strategic priorities based on local need are likely to be considered.
The FA and Football Foundation will continue to offer advice and support in relation to project’s where it is considered to be of benefit to football and in addition, we will try to identify any other relevant funding sources or seek to work with you to reduce overall project costs. The Football Foundation is continuing to record all expressions of interest as they are submitted in anticipation of future grant availability
Please therefore view the Pre Application Form in the Related Documents section. The form is required to be completed and returned to Kelly.ellis@leicestershireFA.com containing as much detail as possible with regards to future proposed developments. This information will then be used to score each project and then included on the prioritisation list. All Pre Application Forms are required to be returned by Friday 13 August so that the internal scoring process can take place.
