The County Inclusive(Disability) Football League

With the development of Inclusive Clubs/Teams over the last few years the County Inclusive Football League has seen a steady growth in the number of teams taking part in the league and the frequency of fixtures.

Following on from the success of the League for the season 2008/09 and the great attendance of teams at the final event of the season at Holmes park on the 24th May 2009. The season 2009/10 was going to be one to look forward to for all those involved.

Fixtures were set out at the beginning of the season, to ensure all involved had plenty of time to sort out their playes and transport.

The Inclusive League has 3 divisions:

  • Junior Division
  • Youth Division
  • Adults Division

Teams taking part represent Clubs:

Aylestone Park FC - Junior / Youth / Adult

Asfordby Amateurs LG All Inclusive – Junior / Youth

Barwell Athletic Minis FC – Junior / Youth

Harborough Alliance Inclusive - Adults

Leicester City Woodgate FC – Junior / Youth x 2 / Adults x 3

Inclusive Clubs take it in turn to host the fixtures and we also have 4 fixtures during the winter months being held at the Leicester City Training Dome, which is a fantastic facility, ensuring the fixtures still go ahead and the players are not disappointed.

The County Inclusive Football League has recently received the accolade of a Football Association RESPECT League ensuring Fairplay and mutual respect for all those involved, ensuring a friendly and safe environment for youngsters, adults, males and female with a disability/special need to take part in ‘our beautiful game’.

During the spring of 2010, the League will also achieve Football Association Charter Standard League Status.
