What is the aim of the grant scheme?
To increase the number of grassroots female teams playing in competitive leagues in Leicestershire & Rutland in season 2010/2011.
Overview of Grant Scheme:
Clubs can apply for a grant to be used to help them to develop a new girl’s or women’s team for the season 2010/11. They will have to complete an application form in which they will be required to outline what they will spend the money on and how this will develop a new team. Examples will be provided on request. The application form will then be reviewed by the LRCFA Development Team. Once an application has been accepted the club can start to claim the grant in accordance with their application form.
Who can apply?
Any affiliated Leicestershire & Rutland County FA based Grassroots clubs looking at developing new girl’s or women’s football teams.
Who can’t apply?
Clubs that are already using funding from The FA, Football Foundation or LRCFA to develop new girl’s or women’s football teams.
Grassroots clubs not affiliated to the Leicestershire & Rutland County Football Association.
What is the Maximum grant per new team?
£500
Are there any mandatory grant items and costs?
Yes, Affiliation to CFA for season 20010/11 and Affiliation to the Leicestershire County Girls League / Leicestershire Women’s Senior League
What costs are eligible for the grant?
• Venue hire (Maximum £20 per hour)
• Hire of Coach (Maximum £15 per hour)
• Coaching course fees
• League affiliation fees for 2010/11
• First Aid Kit
• Equipment (Maximum £150)
The grant must be used for the items set out in the financial breakdown when submitting an application
What costs are not eligible?
• Any football activity that is not specifically aimed at females.
• Travel or transport.
• Using the grant to subsidise any other grant / bid application.
Are there any conditions of applying for the Grant?
• Clubs must commit to achieving Charter Standard Status within 12 months of the application if they do not already have it.
• The project must be monitored, evaluated and reported back to the County FA throughout the life of the grant.
• LRCFA will provide each club with monitor and evaluation forms at the start of the grant
• If these conditions are not met, the Leicestershire & Rutland CFA reserve the right to recoup the grant.
• Club must claim for monies as and when they spend them. They will not receive a lump sum when their application is agreed. Invoices / Receipts must be provided for all claims
