What are the costs?

The course fee is £59 (with a £20 discount for under 16's).  This includes basic training, an FA CRB check (required for over 18's), safeguarding children training and an FA welcome to refereeing pack. 

Once you have qualified, you can claim a refund of £30 (£10 for under 16's) from the FA if you referee a further 6 matches.

Do I get paid?

Referees get paid £25 per match for open age football, and for U16-U18 games.  £18 for U13-U15 and £16 for U11 & U12.  Minisoccer pays £10 per match.  This includes games refereed as part of the course, so it really pays to be a referee!
