County Development Manager - Leicestershire and Rutland County FA. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive and will lead a team of development staff to co-ordinate and implement the National Game Strategy within the County.

Salary circa - £27k to £33k per annum


The role encompasses the following areas:
• Strategic planning
• Managing a team of Football Development Staff
• Implementing the National Game Strategy at a local level to include:
Growth and retention
Increasing and sustaining player participation
Raising standards – creating a safe and positive environment
Better players – developing better players with a focus on the 5-11 age group
Running the game – leading and governing the game efficiently
Facilities and investment – working with the Football Foundation and other investment partners
to support priority applications for capital and revenue funding

You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. In addition you must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels, have a proven track record of managing staff. You will also need to have a current driving licence and be able to work evenings and weekends.
