Sunday the 28th June saw the final matches of the Regional League. Leicestershire & Rutland representative teams have been competing since last October around the region, with fixtures being held in Northampton, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
All players have a learning, physical or sensory impairment. We have teams at U16’s and 3 adults teams at different levels of ability, League level and Championship level.
Our teams have competed brilliantly all season under the guidance of our management team, Wayne Gudgeon, Paul Gibson, Ian Smith and Graham Prosser. Managers endeavour to ensure a positive learning experience is achieved during all matches, providing players with vital life skills through participating in football and being part of a team.
We are currently looking for Sponsors to support our teams next season as we travel around the Midlands for matches.
