Leicestershire & Rutland FA - developing football for everyone
Governance - safeguarding the game

Governance is changing

From the 2008/09 season Governance will now be known as Football Operations. We feel that this will change perceptions on what we are about.

Our job is about ensuring that football is administered and organised within the rules and Regulations of The FA and County FA.

Football Operations includes such areas as discipline, affiliations, rules and sanctions, competitions and Referees.

Chris Parkin, Football Operations Manager explains: "We are not just about taking money from players and clubs. We have to ensure that football is enjoyed by the majority and not spolit by the minority.  We aim to provide a consistent and transparent service."

'If you have a concern or problem then get in touch with us before it develops into a situation that we can't help you with.  We are here to support club and league secretaries in their administration" Parkin added.

This website will be a useful tool to support everyone with their administration.  The Discipline Handbook which can be found under the Discipline section, related documents is an ideal example of how we can help and support volunteers.
