The FA School Club Link Programme is run every season with the intention of developing new provision within a County FA's Club Structure.

Within Leicestershire & Rutland County FA we conduct 6 Clublinks per season, these are chosen by the Football Development Team on merit and depending on the current club status, potential status, growth and numbers within our County Football Plan. The Clublink scheme offers a small pot of funding for the club picked by the County FA to spend on the development of at least one new team which will be affiliated to the club in question next season. The club must document this within the 6 months of the Clublink scheme to start to benefit from this funding.

The club can promote the link however they like, be this by linking in with a local Primary School, Secondary School, Community Project, College or University - depending on what NEW provision the club decides to proceed with. This is a great FA initiative to get your club into your local community and getting new players and volunteers into football to develop your club for the future.
