In a change to last year’s hugely-successful inaugural Girls’ Football Week, this year will see two weeks of action take place across England; with April’s Girls’ Football Week specifically focused on providing females at both primary and secondary schools with opportunities to play the beautiful game.

As part of Girls’ Football Week, clubs, community groups, schools and various other organisations are encouraged to get involved by running female-specific sessions during the course of the week.

The FA is offering free-to-use resources to participating schools and institutions, which include session guides and promotional materials. This can be accessed by registering the session at www.fagirlsfootballweek.com

If you are part of an organisation wishing to take part during April’s Girls’ Football Week – head to the link above and register your session – and we will add it to the list of events (below) taking place in Leicestershire and Rutland to encourage participation.
