FREE CPD Event - 18th September
The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is inviting coaches to take part in a FREE Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Event at Brockington…
The event has been organised in partnership with the Leicester & District Mutual Football League and is open to coaches/clubs from all leagues.
The CPD event is made up of two separate workshops; each specifically aimed at coaches of certain age groups. Workshop 1 is aimed at Under-7 coaches, while Workshop 2 is targeted at Under-9 coaches.
Workshop 1: ‘How we Coach’ looks at what makes a ‘good’ learning environment and how to ‘plan – do – review’.
Workshop 2: ‘How we Play’ focuses on the transition from 5v5 to 9v9 football and some of the key considerations. Both workshops have both practical and theoretical elements.

Each session will count as three hours of CPD for Level 1 & Level 2 coaches.
