CPD Event: Developing Defending Play - Out of Possession

The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is delighted to announce details of a forthcoming CPD event for grassroots coaches across the county.
Hosted at Judgemeadow Community College on Tuesday 26th July (6:30pm – 9:30pm), Developing Defending Play – Out of Possession forms part of the England DNA How We Play series of CPD events – and will count as three hours of CPD accreditation.

The workshop will outline the key principles around the out-of-possession phase in a game, and consider their application across different age groups.

By the end of the session, participants will:

-    Identify the key principles that underpin the out-of-possession phase of a game
-    Observe and analyse a practical session on developing defending play to highlight the four England DNA principles in practice
-    Evaluate and reflect on the key messages and consider how these apply in respective contexts

The event is FREE and is for those coaching in FA Charter Standard Clubs in Leicestershire and Rutland.

The night also serves as a Coach Licence Event for those who are members of The FA Licenced Coaches Club.

Places are limited, so please CLICK HERE to book early and avoid disappointment.
