Girls' Football Week This April

Starting 25 April, The FA is to run FA Girls’ Football Week across the country.
The week aims to encourage more educational institutions, community organisations and clubs to run female specific football sessions.

From lunch time tasters, to after school clubs and full blown football festivals, there’s lots of ways to get involved and give girls aged 5 to 16 the opportunity to try football for the first time or re-engage those that might have been tempted away from the sport.

The FA is asking every organisation that wishes to hold an activity, regardless of size to register their interest.

On completion, you will receive free helpful promotional materials and ideas and tips on activities that you can run.

Click here for more information and to register your activity.

If you have any questions regarding the week or registration process please contact info@FAGirlsFootballWeek.com

For individual girls looking to get involved, we encourage them to either go directly to their school or club to encourage them to take part, or alternatively to look for local football opportunities near them at www.TheFA.com/PlayFootball
