Over 200 Players compete in 2017 Inclusive Cup

There was a fantastic turnout at Leicestershire & Rutland County FA’s 2017 Inclusive Cup on Saturday 3 June, with over 200 players making up 26 teams…
The six-a-side cup, which was organised for all teams within the Leicestershire & Rutland Inclusive League, featured players from junior, youth, adult male and adult female age groups.

The winners were as follows:

Juniors – Oadby and Wigston

Youth – Aylestone Park

Adult Females – Aylestone Park

Adult Male League – Leicester City Woodgate

Adult Male Championship – Leicester City Woodgate

Adult Male Premiership – Aylestone Park

Leicestershire & Rutland County FA would like to congratulate the winning sides and thank all players for taking part.

Meanwhile, this week has also seen the Inclusive Schools and Adult Competition kick off at Holmes Park, with four schools attending both the KS1 and KS2 session on Monday (5 June) and the KS3 and KS4 event on Wednesday (7 June). We are also excited to welcome a total of 11 teams to Holmes Park on Thursday 8 June to take part in the competition.
