Club In-Service Support Programme 2017-18 Launched!

Here at Leicestershire & Rutland County FA we recognise the time, effort and often frustrations which come with running a grassroots football...
Following consultation with clubs over the past couple of months, a number of priority topics have been identified which will make up a large part of the support offered this season. The top five topic areas identified are:

•    Making the most of The FA Whole Game System
•    Making the most of The FA Full-Time System
•    Club Development and Business Planning Support
•    Volunteers and the Law
•    Completing the Annual Charter Standard Health Check

Shaun Waite, Football Development Officer (Participation), said: “We recognise the need to help and support the hard working volunteers in our clubs, and believe the training on offer through this programme will be hugely beneficial. In turn, club volunteers will be in a better position to continue to provide excellent opportunities for our players.”

We continue to consult with clubs and the specific support required with The FA Whole Game System, following which a further announcement will be made later this month. To engage in this short consultation, please follow this link to complete a short survey on Whole Game System Support.

In the meantime, all other priority topics have been planned, starting with a Charter Standard Health Check Drop In Session on Tuesday 3 October. For more details around how to book, or to see what other training is being provided, please CLICK HERE
