Female Talent Identification Event

Young female footballers within Leicestershire and Rutland are being given the opportunity to attend a Talent Identification event at Wolverhampton University on 24 October, hosted by The FA.

The event aims to identify any female players currently playing in mixed grassroots football who have the long term potential to represent England and may lead to opportunities to attend the FA Girls Regional Development Programme during the course of the season.

The event details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday 24 October 2017

Venue: Wolverhampton University, Walsall Campus

Cost: FREE

Eligibility: the event is open to female players born in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

The time of the sessions will be confirmed once the registration date has passed, however the sessions will take place during the day and are likely to commence late morning or early afternoon and last 2 hours.

All of the training sessions will be delivered by FA Technical Coaches and the event will be staffed by FA Regional and National teams staff.

The purpose of the event is NOT to recruit players away from their current grassroots clubs.
