Respect Steering Group Member

We are looking for members of this newly formed group

As part of the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA continued commitment to implement the FA Respect Programme and create player centred environments for all young players, we are seeking inspirational individuals within the local grassroots game to support the County FA and its stakeholders to monitor, review and implement a robust Respect Action Plan as part of newly establish Respect Steering Group.

This diverse steering group aims to have individuals from a variety of experiences and backgrounds, with the intention to have the following representatives on the group;

  • 1 x County FA Staff
  • 2 x League Reps
  • 2 x Referee Reps (One Referee Mentor, One Young Referee)
  • 2 x Charter Standard Club Reps
  • 2 x Coach Reps (One Coach Mentor, One Grassroots Coach)
  • 1 x Player Rep (Age 18 or below)
  • 2 x Parent Rep

We actively encourage applications from individuals that wish to play their part and are motivated to make a difference to the grassroots game. The ability to be solution driven, along with a desire for fairness and equality are essential behaviours required to be part of this group.

Although a voluntary role, those accepted onto the group will be in a position of influence and thus have the potential to have a positive impact on so many young players. In addition; support, education and training will be provided where required.

 

The deadline to register your interest is Friday 20th July, with responses sent to all those that submitted an interest by Friday 3rd August.
