Anstey Nomads FC to unveil new pitch perimeter fencing in Leicestershire

What: Anstey Nomads FC will unveil their new pitch perimeter fencing.
Where: Callingtons Community Arena, Cropston Road, Anstey, Leicestershire, LE7 7BP.
When: Saturday 1 December 2018 at 2pm.

Anstey Nomads FC are delighted to be unveiling their new pitch perimeter fencing on Saturday 1 December at 2pm. This is thanks to a grant from the Premier League through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) – the largest funders of non-league football in the country.

The grant has enabled Anstey Nomads FC, who play at Step 6 in the Future Lions United Counties League Division One to replace an old, dilapidated pitch perimeter barrier which was over 60-years-old and originally installed for an FA Amateur Cup match.

The new perimeter fencing ensures that the club which was founded in 1947 continues to maintain the requirements of Grade G of the FA National Ground Grading Criteria.

The project was made possible thanks to a £20,000 grant from the Premier League, through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), the sister organisation of the Football Foundation.

Notes to editors:

The FSIF is funded with £6.5m each year from the Premier League. It is the country’s largest provider of grants towards projects that help improve the comfort and safety of lower-league football grounds in both the professional and amateur game. These improvements range from new football stands and turnstiles to floodlighting and improved provision for disabled supporters.
