Leicestershire & rutland 2021/22 season Non League Round Up

We take a look at some Leicestershire & Rutland Clubs that have achieved great things this season.

As the 2021/22 Season comes to an end, we would like to bring attention to some fantastic achievements met by some of our Teams across the County:

- Harborough Town FC Firsts, crowned Champions of the UCL Southern Premier Division earning promotion into Step 4 of the Football Pyramid. The Bees also lifted the UCL Champions Cup as well as the Hinchingbrooke Cup, completing the treble. A truly fantastic season for the Bees!

- Coalville Town FC Firsts, after finishing 3rd in the Southern Premier Division Coalville made their way to the Play-Off Final where they faced Peterborough Sports. The winner earning promotion into Step 2. Unfortunately Coalville fell short losing 2-0 on the day. Despite this, Coalville should be proud of their achievements through the season. 

- Hinckley LRFC Firsts, finishing on 99 Points Hinckley LRFC earned promotion to Step 4 from the UCL Southern Premier Division. A great campaign! 

- Hinckley AFC First, after earning a Spot in the United Counties Division 1 Play Off, Hinckley produced an impressive performance in their Play-Off Semi-Final winning 3-0 v Hucknall  Town. Hinckley AFC will now take on Belper United in their Play-Off Final on the 7th May. We wish the best of luck to them!

- Ashby Ivanhoe Firsts, after an impressive campaign Ivanhoe earned a spot within the Midland Football League Play-Offs. Unfortunately Ivanhoe just fell short losing to Stapenhill in the Play-Offs. 

We would also like to congratulate our current County Cup Winners: Anstey Nomads U16 Swift Girls, Leicester City LFC U17 ‘66, Quorn Juniors U11 Girls, Mowbray Rangers U11 Pumas, Glenfield United FC U11 Foxes, East Goscote United U12 Girls, Birstall United Juniors U11, Aylestone Park Youth U13, Aylestone Park Youth U14 Boys, Blaby & Whetstone FC U16 Lions, Aylestone Park Youth U18 Foxes
