Football in College is an important part of student life and a great way to further enhance experiences whilst at an important stage in education.

Whether taking academic subjects, vocational courses or day release as part of a paid employment there are many ways to play football at College in different formats like Just Play!, 5-a-side, 7-a-side and 11-a-side.

If you thought football was played at 11-a-side on a Wednesday afternoon for the 1st and 2nd XI then you're right!...But did you know that football leagues are now being played during lunch times, in students' free periods and after College at 5, 7 and 11-a-side? Team19 is a British Colleges Sport League system which allows all Colleges to have Leagues and Tournaments which suit the needs of their students.

The website is a great hub and allows students to track their teams progress through easily manageable Leagues, show who the top scorers are and show who is top of the League come the final day of the season! The Leagues that can be made allow students to choose how long they run for, how many teams can enter and in what format, so regardless of how much space you've got at College or how many players you have there's something for everyone!

The Leagues are run and administered by the students at the College, with the support of the College & Community Football Co-ordinator, College Teachers and Enrichment Staff. At the moment Colleges who have Leagues in place are currently playing for League Titles in weekly fixtures between teams made up from subjects and departments.
