The Race Equality Advistory Group will support all BME groups within the game.
The group is currently chaired by Jos Johnson and supported by six regular members, Zak Hajit (Vice-Chairman), Elmi Moalim, Ahmed Maravia, John Williams and Craig White.
Items that will be discussed are barriers that need to be broken down, provisions that need to be looked at to improve the game and participation levels. The group are also responsible for contributing to one appropriate project per playing season.
In previous seasons the group has seen various different County Association staff sit on the groups meetings, but from the 2012-13 season our newly appointed Social Inclusion Officer, Nimesh Patel, will be the County delegate to the group. He will be supported by The County FA Chief Executive, Keith Murdoch.
