The event will star two local bands, Propshaft and Mojo Hand together with Blue Wave Disco. Tickets are priced £5.00 with free entry for children and for an extra cost food can be purchased from the DW Trophy Charity Fund’s official food outlet Subway. Currently on sale via Shepshed Dynamo FC, Ibstock WMC, Peter Hill Transport, Touchline Sports, Blue Wave Disco, and Specsavers in Coalville. Tickets for the DW Trophy Live music event will also be available upon entry.

The evening will start at 7.00pm till late, and will include a charity auction to raise further funds for the British Heart Foundation and East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Up for grabs will be the signed Adidas Tango12 match ball. Used during Euro 2012, the game at the Dovecote played last May, which raised nearly £1,000 towards the two charitable causes, was the very first competitive match to be played with the official UEFA tournament ball and also featured in an article on the BBC News Channel during the summer tournament.

Dave Wheatley’s son and chairman of the DWT Charity fund, Craig said

“I’m sure the evening will be a success and a further step forward in making both events an annual opportunity for people to show support for both the BHF and EMAS.

Donations already received towards the auction include signed footballs, shirts, n-power championship match tickets, ground tours and other donations from Milton Keynes, Notts County, Nott’m Forest, Watfford, Birmingham City, Burton Albion, Leicester City, Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday.  Also Shepshed Dynamo who have kindly donated a shirt signed by amongst others, former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, Aaron Lowe from Big Brother and Matt Lapinskas who plays Anthony Moon in Eastenders following a recent charity game at the club.”
