Leicestershire Blind Footballer to Represent England

Despite only picking up the sport 18 months ago, Leicestershire based blind footballer, Nathan Edge, is set to represent England at the IBSA Blind European Championships in Berlin this weekend.

In what will be his first experience of playing for England, Nathan will be eager to make his mark on the competition when his side faces Romania on Saturday 19 August.

England have been drawn into Group A and will face Romania, France, Italy and Germany. The top two sides will go through to the semi-finals.


Saturday 19 August (13:30) – Romania v England

Monday 21 August (17:00) – England v France

Tuesday 22 August (19:30) – Italy v England

Wednesday 23 August (17:00) – England v Germany
