Non-League Day & Sunday League Day 2024

Show your support for local clubs across this weekend

This weekend is a big one for English football! Get ready to celebrate:

Saturday, March 23rd: Non-League Day! Head out and experience the passion of grassroots football at a local non-league game.

Sunday, March 24th: The first-ever Sunday League Day! Show your support for the Sunday League teams across our county.

With the international break interrupting topflight football this weekend, it’s the perfect opportunity to support the local clubs in Leicestershire and Rutland.

What is Non-League Day?

Non-League Day is an annual event in English football. It's a chance for fans of top-flight football to experience a different side of the sport. They get to visit and cheer on local clubs playing in the non-league pyramid.

Non-League Day was set up by James Doe in 2010 as a social media experiment after being inspired by a pre-season trip to Devon to watch Queens Park Rangers play at Tavistock.

What is Sunday League Day?

Sunday League Day is a new concept to promote Sunday League football across the UK, piggybacking on the success of Non-League Day in recent years.

The overall objective is to raise the profile of Sunday League football and to get people out of their houses on a Sunday morning to go and watch their local grassroots football team.
