Walking Football

Ensuring all generations can still enjoy the game

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOUR PLAYING DAYS WERE OVER!

Walking Football is a slower paced version of football aimed at encouraging older adults to play again on a regular basis.

With all the same rules of standard football, the only difference is players are not allowed to run. This means the game relies less on a players physical attributes such as; speed, power and stamina, and more on accurate passing, good positional play, and strong tactical knowledge.

Designed to give footballers over the age of 50 years old the opportunity to re-live their playing days and stay active, walking football can be played at any level of skill and is open the men and women of all ages and abilities.
