Forthcoming safeguarding courses and workshops

We offer a range of safeguarding services and training to help create a safe and enjoyable football experience for everyone. Here are details of the current safeguarding support services we offer:

Obtaining a DBS (Previously known as a CRC)

A DBS, is obtainable through your Clubs Welfare Officer. It is a simple online form that asks for information from various Identity Documentation. As a Club volunteer it will cost just £10. If your club is not able to verify your document, please let us know and we can make arrangements for one of our trained staff to do so.

How we handle reported concerns

Every Concern is treated seriously. Our Designated Safeguarding Officer will look into the concerns you have and take the appropriate action required. It is likely that more information will be required so they may wish to speak to you further.

Support for Welfare Officers

Welfare officers from time to time may need extra support. We are here to provide that service including putting in a contingency if a clubs welfare officer is not available for what ever reason. We provide ongoing training and regular training throughout the season.

Sharing Good Practice

There are a lot of clubs providing great examples of Good Practice. Through out the season we are looking to highlight clubs who set good examples that we think other clubs would like to know about as well as tips on how to implement these into your own club

For any of the above services, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Officer.
