Respect - Resource winners

16 Charter Standard Clubs win Respect Resources

Following a prize draw, which was conducted at the recent County Youth Conference 2018 as part of the Leicestershire & Rutland Respect Week of Action, we are delighted to announce that 16 Charter Standard Clubs have won £200 worth of free respect resources.

This prize was joint funded by the Football Foundation, Leicestershire & Rutland County FA and the following Leicestershire & Rutland sanctioned Leagues;

  • Leicester & District Mutual Football League,
  • Leicestershire Foxes Sunday League,
  • Leicester District Sunday Juniors Leagues,
  • MDH Teamwear Leicestershire Youth League,
  • Leicestershire Midweek Youth Floodlit League
  • Leicester City & County Girls League.

Shaun Waite, Football Development Officer (Participation) said, “We’d firstly like to thank the Football Foundation and all the leagues that contributed a significant amount of funding towards this prize. By doing so they are showing a commitment and support for the respect programme.

Secondly, we congratulate all the clubs that have been awarded the prize and thank them for attending and playing their part of the youth conference. We of course hope the resources help each club to create the player centred environment in which they are intended to do,”

Unfortunately there was a limited number of respect prizes available, however all clubs are encouraged to access the Football Foundation 50% respect discount voucher to help purchase their very own resources. We pledge support for Respect in Leicestershire & Rutland, as we believe Football is For ALL and should be enjoyed in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
