Following a successful relaunch of the LRCFA Referee CPD programme in December, we are delighted to confirm additional events in the new year.
The next Referee CPD session is scheduled for Thursday 7th January, 7:30pm – 9pm with a session titled, “Insight into professional refereeing and my learning experiences along the way through the Leicestershire leagues”
Hosted by one of our referee tutors, Minesh Gupta, Jon Brooks who started out as a 14 year old local referee that has assisted within the Champions League and Premier League and a SG2 Referee will give an insight in what it takes to excel and develop as a referee from grassroots through the professional game. Jon will provide an insight into some of the challenges, commitment and skills required to excel through the referee pathway. An excellent opportunity for local referees that have ambition to exceed, or just want to make the most of their potential at a local level.
There are no limits on attendees but booking onto this session is essential! To register for this CPD session please click here
Attendees will then be sent the meeting link up to 24hours prior to the CPD session.
We have further CPD sessions scheduled as detailed below, with more detail being communicated to referees nearer the time of each event;
- Thursday 4th February – Referee Journey, Challenge & Success, and a Technical session on Handball with Farai Hallam (The FA National Referee Manager) and hosted by Minesh Gupta
