Leicestershire & Rutland CFA is running a free Understanding Autism and ADHD course as during World Autism Awareness Week in 30th March 2020

Course Information: 
The workshop will be delivered by Dani Findley, Autism Specialist, to help coaches with the knowledge and understanding Autism and ADHD, 
This theory workshop will focus on the following key themes:

•  Dispelling the Myths
•  Communicating effectively with a young person and their parents/carers
•  Looking at situations that can occur within a football setting
•  Protecting your own wellbeing

The main outcomes of the evening are to make people feel and become more confident when working with people autism and ADHD within their teams and provide strategies and knowledge of autism friendly adjustments to ensure that autistic people are not limited by the people and the environment around them.

The workshop is suitable for anybody linked to a grassroots club, mainstream and inclusive or delivering football in the community.

The workshop is free of charge
