Latest Funding support

Over the past 2 months, 5 organisations have successfully received funding through the Football foundation to support grassroots football in the County.  This has included Oakham United Football Club and Ingles Football Club who have both received funding to support improvements to their grass pitches.  Oakham United have received £21,943 towards new maintenance machinery and Ingles £10,000 through the grass pitch maintenance fund.  Alongside this, Castle Donington Parish Council have accessed new goalposts for one of their sites and Leicester City Hockey Club have funding to make improvements to fencing on the ball courts at St Margaret’s Pastures.

Our largest grant, however of just over £180,000 has been awarded to Syston Town Council to help them refurbish a changing pavilion on Syston Memorial Playing Fields.  This improvement will  provide a fantastic new facility to support senior teams and juniors from Syston Town.
