The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is inviting application from passionate, motivated and dedicated individuals for two exciting positions within our Football Development team.

Football Development Officer (Female and Disability) - For this role, we are looking for individuals with the skills, knowledge and passion to work with stakeholders to develop playing opportunities in league, club and recreational environments for players within the both the female and disability player pathways.

Workforce Development Officer (Referees and Coaches) - For this role, we are looking for individuals with skills, knowledge and experience to implement and execute strategies that support the recruitment, retention and development of referees, whilst also having the ability to develop a programme that supports the ongoing development of grassroots coaches. Whilst experience with a refereeing or coaching environment is not essential, it is highly desirable.

Candidates for both roles will be expected to have excellent project management skills, and have the ability to plan, set and achieve multiple objectives to agreed deadlines. You should have a passion to develop inclusive opportunities for all and can work strategically with partners organisations to achieve multiple outcomes. Excellent project management skills, the ability to solve problems both independently and as part of team are key skills needed to be successful.

Both roles will be fixed term until 30th June 2024 with an annual salary of £22,000 - £24,500.

LRCFA is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through the FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining the post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
