Although very rewarding, we appreciate running a club can at times be a daunting and challenging task, particularly for new volunteers that have been thrown in the deep end. We are therefore implementing a Club Officials Induction Programme to support clubs in preparing you for some the tasks they may face in the coming season.
The programme is targeted at new Club Officials that have recently started to volunteer at club committee level, however it could also be very valuable to those that feel they need to refresh their knowledge, understanding or require further support in some key areas in running their clubs.
The programme will provide introductions and support across a number of key topics area such as; prioritising tasks at a club, introduction to FA technology systems, overview of the basic governance in football and an oversight of development opportunities at your club. Other topics will be added or tailored to meet needs of the individuals that sign up to this programme.
By signing up the this programme, you can expect to be able to access the following support;
- Club Officials Induction Workshop – Thursday 25th August, 7pm at Holmes Park
- Social Support Group via Microsoft Teams
- Follow Up Network Evenings and Coffee Mornings to share challenges and learning
- Link up with an experienced Club Official for further support
You do not need to sign up to all the above support and are free to access the support that would be of most valuable to you.

Once signed up to the programme, we aim to communicate with you in the week commencing 22nd August, so you have all the information needed ahead of the induction workshop at Holmes Park, (LE8 6FA) on Thursday 25th August, 7pm.
