Additional County FA Engagement Event Added

We are excited to announce an additional event which will take place at Leicester City FC Training Ground on Thursday 7th March.

In response to the high level of demand following our announcement of the delivery of two Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Engagement Events, we are excited to announce we have added an additional event, which will take place at Leicester City FC Training Ground in Seagrave on Thursday 7th March.

We are also delighted to announce that we have secured a limited number of additional spaces for our engagement event at the King Power Stadium on the 28th February. However, you will need to act fast as spaces are extremely limited.

Both events will start at 6:30 p.m. and are part of the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA commitment to actively engage with stakeholders to get local views that will help us shape the future of football in Leicestershire & Rutland as we embark on our next business strategy cycle.

The events will provide a platform for attendees to share their thoughts on various key aspects of grassroots football, including:

  • How we progress the governance of the game
  • How we tackle poor behaviour
  • Improving the playing experience
  • How we improve football facilities
  • How we create thriving community clubs and
  • Better value our volunteers, coaches, and referees.

Attendees will also be given opportunities to share feedback on how the County FA can better connect with and serve the game, participants and our members.

Joe Dunmore, Chief Executive Officer of the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA said: “I am excited to announce our active engagement with stakeholders in a comprehensive consultation process.

“Your local views, opinions, and priorities are invaluable in shaping our upcoming business strategy cycle. Our engagement events, alongside online surveys and focus group sessions, are a crucial step in defining the future of football in Leicestershire and Rutland
