shape your future

Shape Your Future

Help shape our 2024-28 strategy by sharing your ideas and thoughts at our upcoming face-to-face engagement events.

The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is actively engaging with stakeholders to understand your local views, opinions and priorities for the grassroots game. Your valuable input will play a crucial role in shaping our upcoming business strategy cycle, scheduled for launch in July 2024.

These engagement events alongside an online survey and other focus group sessions, form part of this consultation process which will help us shape the future of your football in Leicestershire & Rutland.

Our two engagement events will start from 6:30pm, with two dates scheduled as follows;

  • Monday 12th February - Smallman & Sons Arena (Lutterworth Athletic FC)
  • Wednesday 28th February - King Power Stadium (Leicester City FC) - LIMITED SPACES

There's a lot to talk about in grassroots football so at our events, attendees will be given opportunities to provide feedback on a range of topics such as:

  • How we progress the governance of the game
  • How we tackle poor behaviour
  • Improving the playing experience
  • How we improve football facilities,
  • How we create thriving community clubs and
  • Better value our volunteerscoaches, and referees

Attendees will also be given opportunities to share feedback on how the County FA can better connect with and serve the game, participants and our members.

Joe Dunmore, Chief Executive Officer at the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA said: “I am excited to announce our active engagement with stakeholders in a comprehensive consultation process.

“Your local views, opinions, and priorities are invaluable in shaping our upcoming business strategy cycle. Our engagement events, alongside online surveys and focus group sessions, are a crucial step in defining the future of football in Leicestershire & Rutland.

“Your input is vital in ensuring we connect with and serve the game's participants and members effectively. Join us in shaping the future of football in our community.”
