Futsal League achieve Charter Standard
The Leicestershire Youth Futsal League have recently submitted a new 4-year development plan, which will commence immediately, running up until 2021, and with this have achieved Charter Standard League Status.
Through this achieving this status, the league have committed to developing in a number of key areas, including; the running of the league, sustaining and increasing participation, support for coaches and development of futsal referees. In addition the league has committed to ensuring at least 85% of its clubs are Charter Standard which means all coaches will need to be Level 1 Qualified Coach and have up-to-date Safeguarding Children, Emergency and in-date FA DBS Check as minimum.
This commitment by the league will lead to a better playing experience for all those participating in the league, with the intention of increasing the number of players playing Futsal.
As a County FA we congratulate the league on this achievement, and thank the hard working volunteers on the committee that have dedicated time to grow the league. We look forward to continue supporting the league in achieving its ambitions over the next 3 seasons.”
Pete Harris, League Committee Member said “Achieving Charter Standard League status is a fantastic achievement for the Leicestershire Youth Futsal League.
