Win a LCFC match day experience

CS Health Check Prize Winner

Greentowers FC Hinckley win a Match Day Experience just by completing their Charter Standard Health Check

Following the successful completion of their Charter Standard Health Check for 2019/20, we are proud to announce that Greentowers FC Hinckley are the second Charter Standard Club of the season to win a Match Day Experience at the King Power Stadium.

Greentowers FC Hinckley were chosen at random through a prize draw from all eligible Charter Standard Clubs and are one of 72 clubs that have already passed their Charter Standard Health Check (CSHC) this season by 31st January.

The prize now means 10 Greentowers FC Hinckley players will experience the opportunity to walk out with the players at the Leicester City Premier League match against Aston Villa on 9th March. A truly memorable experience for all the family, and we are proud to be working with our partners at Leicester City FC to offer this exciting prize for a Charter Standard Club.

How to achieve Charter Standard?

Achieving Charter Standard requires clubs to fulfil a minimum set of criteria that will help to provide the best places for people to play and enjoy football. All details of how to achieve Charter Standard can be found here.

Shaun Waite, Football Development Officer (Male Participation) said “We are proud of all our Charter Standard Clubs, they provide the best places for people to play and enjoy football. They ensure there is a qualified coach with every youth team, they support and promote the Respect programme and have quality governance procedures in place off the pitch. We congratulate Greentowers FC Hinckley for winning this prize, but look forward to working with any club that wishes to achieve this kitemark this season”

Mike Gilmore, Leicester City Football Club’s Grassroots Co-ordinator said ‘Congratulations to Greentowers FC Hinckley for winning their prize, and look forward to welcoming them and their players to the King Power for their exciting match experience. We hope these experiences will incentivise other grassroot football clubs to recognise the benefits of the FA Charter Standard Programme.’
