Playing football without a referee is not easy.

Referees perform a vital role in the game, and with the growth in the popularity of football, particularly for women and children, the demand for match officials is increasing.

That's why here at Leicestershire & Rutland FA we are dedicated to producing, supporting and developing a highly motivated and immense talented network of FA qualified referees.

We work hard to provide a wide range of opportunities and support to the 400+ registered referees officiating across the county already, and encourage those looking to get into refereeing for the first time.
