With one of the biggest disability leagues in the country, Leicestershire is a great place to be involved in disability football.

Leicestershire and Rutland have a long and distinguished disability footballing offer. With a mixture of independent and mainstream clubs able to offer opportunities at a grassroots all the way through to the elite game, there truly is the chance to offer football for all.

Inclusive Football Clubs

The majority of our Inclusive teams play in the Leicestershire & Rutland Inclusive Football League. They are a PAN disability league for teams in Leicestershire & Rutland and compete in monthly fixtures.

Teams take part in a match day festival once a month at a host clubs ground. The season starts in September with additional cup fixtures played throughout the season.

LEICESTERSHIRE BLIND FOOTBALL

Leicestershire and Rutland CFA is the proud home of the FA Blind Talent Hub for Elite Blind Players. We also run regular sessions at Holmes Park for those new to the game or have played before, our coaches are here to guide you on through your development.

England Talent Days

Our talent days are for 7-16 year olds who show potential in one of the selected disability classifications; cerebral palsy, deaf, partially sighted, amputee and blind.

We hold one England Talent Day per season to identify those children to move up the disability talent pathway located at the regional talent hubs.
